The Diversity Immigrant Visa Program is administered on an annual basis by the Department of State. This program makes available 50,000 permanent resident visas annually to persons from countries with low rates of immigration to the United States. So most of the countries of the world receive from hundreds to thousands of immigrants visa. Some peoples in some countries are not eligible to register in this program.
